Surveys of the CPHS school partner systems provided guidance for the following steps:
•CPHS will follow the guidelines of each of our cooperating school systems as deemed needed during our evening open times.
• If a system does not require a mask, then CPHS will still have them as optional.
Site closures will be determined on a site-by-site basis reflecting community concerns.
Site Directors will make decisions about our site closures based on the information they are provided.
The following procedures are in place:
• Students are provided with cleaned materials and computer
• Classrooms are limited in student numbers determined by the size of the room
• Procedural signage is posted at the check-in table, water fountains, and hallways
• Restrooms are available at all sites
• When masks are worn for health concerns, they will only cover the nose and mouth....No “head covering type mask” will be allowed.
PARENTS: The advantage of the Coastal Plains program is that students have the ability to work both from home and at the school site. With this in mind, student attendance needs to improve. Many students are not progressing as they should though they have continual access to their courses, even when they are not physically at the site.
